About us

In December 2014 the Competence Center for Mental Health was established at
the University of Zurich with the aim of creating a multidisciplinary network of mental health experts equipped to respond to, and ultimately reduce, the increasing burden
of mental health.

The center is located at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute. Additional partners include the Department of Psychology (UZH), the Department
of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics (UZH), Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University Hospital Zurich (USZ), University Children’s Hospital, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (UZH), Institute for Complementary and Integrative Medicine, University Hospital Zurich (USZ). Together, they will
develop interdisciplinary, high-quality research while providing research support
and supervision for clinicians, post doctoral fellows, and PhD students.
